Why sizes feel inconsistent
A "Medium" from one supplier can be a full size away from another. Most of our pieces follow international sizing (XS to XXL) or waist measurements in inches for trousers and jeans. Every product page lists the fit and the model's height so you can picture how it sits.
Measure yourself once
You need a soft tape measure (a piece of string and a ruler also works).
- Chest – wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms, keeping it level.
- Waist – measure at your natural waist, just above the belly button, without pulling tight.
- Hips – measure the widest point around your hips and seat.
- Inseam – from the top of the inner thigh to the ankle bone, on a pair of trousers that fit well.
Write the numbers down in centimetres. Compare them with the size guide on each product page.
Between sizes?
- For relaxed items like hoodies, oversized tees and shirt dresses, size down for a neater look or up for the intended slouchy feel.
- For tailored trousers and formal shirts, size up if you are between sizes. A tailor in Nairobi can take in a waist for a few hundred shillings; nobody can add fabric.
- Kids' sizes are by age range, but check the height listed on the product. Children grow at different rates.
Still unsure?
Message us on WhatsApp with your measurements and the product name. We will tell you which size to pick, or you can try pieces on at our Nairobi store and have them delivered later.
